About

Manchester Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing calls Manchester School District 'home'. Though our students in the program attend Green Acres Elementary, Henry J. McLaughlin Middle School, Manchester Memorial High School and/or Manchester School of Technology; MPDHH services students from surrounding districts as well.

When your child enters our program they have the opportunity to receive services a Speech Language Pathologist, DHH Counselor, Interpreter/Tutors, Occupational Therapist, and/or Physical Therapist. These services are dependent on the needs of the student and their Individual Education Plan (IEP). All students within our program receive services from a Teacher of the Deaf (TOD).

All educational services provided by a TOD may be accessed within the general education classroom or within the resource room.
